GREENSBORO, N.C. – Adam Storm has been added to the Greensboro College men's soccer staff, Head Coach Tony Falvino announced Thursday.

"We are excited to add Adam to the Greensboro College men's soccer program," Falvino said. "Adam is a young and eager coach who is ready to place his mark on the team as he did as a player.

"Adam brings a lot of playing experience, and his passion for the game is contagious."

Adam comes to Greensboro College following a playing career at nearby High Point University, where he appeared in 71 games, starting 62. As a senior, Storm led the Panthers in minutes played, served as a team co-captain, and was named to the All-Big South Tournament team.

"I am very excited to be joining Tony and the Greensboro College men's soccer program," Storm said. "I am looking forward to getting to work with and meeting the current student-athletes, while doing anything I can to continue the success the program has had in recent years."

After graduating from HPU with a bachelor's degree in human relations, Storm served as a coach for the Piedmont Triad Football Club.

Falvino, Storm, and the rest of the Greensboro College men's soccer program will get the 2016 season underway Sept. 1 at Christopher Newport University. For more information on the Greensboro College men's soccer program, continue to follow www.greensborocollegesports.com.

What they are saying about Coach Storm

"I have had the pleasure of watching Adam develop from a young, talented soccer player to an overall great young man. He will be able to share his experiences and passion for the game with the team at GC, and the results will follow. He is a young and hungry coach, who under the tutelage of Coach Falvino will become a great addition to our profession." – Dustin Fonder, Campbell University head men's soccer coach

"Adam had a great playing career here at High Point. He has all the intangibles to be a great coach: character, leadership, and passion. Learning from Coach Falvino, and the GC program, will be a great start for his career. I am excited to watch him develop as he takes the Pride to even greater heights." – EJ O'Keefe, High Point University head men's soccer coach
