PTFC Teams Achieve Success at Disney Showcase

Orlando, FL: The 99 Lady Black and 99 Boys Black teams achieved great success at this year’s Disney Showcase that took place last week at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The Disney Soccer Showcase is rated the number one youth soccer tournament in the country, according to a poll taken by Soccer America. Both teams finished in third place at the four-day event, which is one of the biggest stages for youth soccer in the United States.

The 99 Boys team finished the week winning three of their four matches, earning a third place finish at the event. Their match-by-match results are below:
PTFC vs. Florida Elite (FL): win, 3-0
PTFC vs. New York SC (NY): loss, 2-1
PTFC vs. Markham SC (Canada): win, 2-1
PTFC vs. Solar Chelsea Pre-Academy (TX): win, 3-1
The 99 Girls team finished their week with a 2-0-2 record, resulting in a third place finish. Their match-by-match results are below:
PTFC vs. Stoney Creek Battalion (Canada): tie, 1-1
PTFC vs. FC Florida (FL): win, 3-0
PTFC vs. South Jersey Elite Barons (NJ): tie, 0-0
PTFC vs. FC Europa Hotspurs (NJ): win, 3-2
