PTFC 2010-2011 Coaching Assignments

PTFC is proud to announce our new club structure and coaching assignments for the 2010-2011 seasons. The quality and professionalism of our PTFC coaching staff is second to none. With the addition of two assistant DOC’s and a director of goalkeeping, our PTFC coaching staff can focus on accelerating player development and helping teams on the pitch. John Trice (boys) and Marty Beall (girls) will now serve as assistant DOC’s in our U-15 through U-18 age groups, while Zac Gibbens has been named PTFC director of goalkeeping. All three coaches are motivated to help refine the technical, tactical, and psychological components of each PTFC player’s game.

In addition, several new coaches will join our staff. Keith Fontaine (USSF A license), Christian Morfaw (former HPU player), and Steve Lenio all have great coaching credentials, and will contribute in enhancing our program.

We are excited to move forward as a club this upcoming season, and feel confident that all PTFC players will benefit from these great coaches and role models.

Big Weekend in Wilmington for PTFC

96 Lady Black, 93 Black, and 95 Black all capture Seaside Classic Championships

     The 96 Lady Black defeated the Wilson (NC) Explosion, 2-1, in the championship game on Sunday afternoon, getting revenge for an earlier, first-round 1-0 defeat from the same squad.

    The 93 Black and the 95 Black teams, both coached by John Trice, acheived decisive final match victories to finish on top and capture two championship trophies for Trice and for the club.
